Am changing over my old SAM system to Windows 10 and am looking for a SAM compatible sound card to run in it. Any suggestions of other cards are certainly welcome. Thank you in advance.

SAM uses the Windows DirectX/DirectSound drivers for sound, so any Windows compatible Soundcard will do.
There are known problems with latency for USB Souncards, though I'm not sure if there have been any recent reports about problems. Last I heard has been 5-6 years when this forum was still frequently visited by people.

Why use a sound card at all? I don't.
