Have the DJs connect to your SHOUTcast SEVERAL minutes before they start. (I like to have my remote DJs connect NO LESS than 5 min before they start.)

This is why I have my DJs connect SEVERAL minutes in advance. In case there IS any buffering still in there, I want it to be something recent.

I didn’t find a way to flush the buffers (except for using icecast and modify it), but if you send at irregular times (i.e., not 24/7), you might want to have the last DJ on air send a »silence file« as last audio file.
(A 30s silence file with an appropriate title might be sufficient. Title just in case your website’s display shows the last title played when the station is not on air. And of course you should set SAM’s Gap Killer OFF for that file …)
