I registered in the band category on Facebook. I am able to add events without problem. But when I try to post my events on OTHER Facebook pages, nothing happens. Is there some setting I need to change, or are bands not allowed to post on other pages in Facebook?

I suppose your band is a Facebook fanpage with a business account (i.e. no human/personal account that created the page).
Usually pages should not post anywhere but on their own page.
If you want to share events or posts created by that page, let the fans (the people who clicked like) handle that spreading-the-word.
At least that's the general tone of the facebook policies. I'm not sure in how far the policy is technically enforced.

So as not to change the Facebook address, is there a way to change it from a business account to one created by a personal account?

Sure, just make your personal account the admin of the facebook fanpage.
That does not change the facebook policies, though. I'm not 100% sure about the technical limitations, but it's sure that the policies allow a page (whether backed by a personal account or not) to only post "as the page" on it's own timeline.

Where do I change the admin? I don't see it in General Account Settings.

On your page: Edit page => Manage Admin Roles
No idea how that looks when you created the page via the "business accounts" workflow, but on my page I have my account listed as manager and then I could add additional accounts if I wanted to by typing the name. By default the new person is added as Content Creator, change that to manager if you want the new admin to have full admin access to the page.

No "Manage Admin Roles" anywhere.

This is how it looks for me:

The Admin panel is the upper part of the page when I look at my Facebook-page. If you can't see it, it might be hidden or the account you are logged in with is not an admin of the page.

FIRST, you have to add a cover photo to the linked human-being account. THEN, you are allowed to add a cover photo to the linked business account.

What's that got to do with anything previously asked in this topic?

Your original suggestion worked perfectly, and the business account is now able to "Like." However, once you link a human being account to a business account, you can't add a cover photo to the business account until you add one first to the human being account.

I used your fix and can now click the Like button. However, when I post a comment, it vanishes.
