this is the error message i'm getting it won't let me open the program i'm running op is microsoft 7 "unable to connect or query database. please make usre the data base server in running and configured properly

SAM PDJ need to have it's database (Firebird) running BEFORE you start it. Verify that FireBird is running (check your task manager for instance of it running.)

how do i get it going, (its not running)

just to mention i'm the one with the sound card problems i bought a new laptop so i need your help quickly i have a gig tomorrow

Firebird should have been installed during the SAM PDJ install. Check your START menu in Windows to see if you can manually start it. (It should have been set up as a service to automatically start w/ Windows)

i tranfer the program from one laptop to the new one maybe thats why it did n't work so what should i do. or is there a place where i can reload on my new laptop i have the key number to reinstall it

If you have your registration key, you can download the program again from the same place you got it the first time and reinstall it.

i went on that page i only saw the new verison 4.sam dj

You could try logging into the CLIENTS area (upper right corner of this page) and download it from there as well.

i got it but i at first it world not let me something about corrupt program or file i didn't understand any way i kept on trying it finlly worked.thanks for your help again
