Hello all

after reading there where some people who had mysql database problems
from time to time me included. so i came up with a easy way for people who are not use to using dos commands

here are the screen shots

Start the repair with some info

this is version 1 it has been tested on Win Xp

after you run the fix all you have to do is exit the app

this application has not been posted anywhere else

your little app screwed my Mysql service now, does it look for base installaion folders only?

and the error im getting now is some sortta ADDED $S feature?

man i new i should have just let things.

tell me what you need o help me to help you get this MAJOR bug fixed in your app

this application does no more than stop mysql

then runs the dos fix as posted else where in this forum

then restart your mysql service

zero else

runs this following command line

net stop mysql
c:/mysql/bin/myisamchk -r -f c:/mysql/data/samdb/*.myi
net start mysql

I wouldn't trust a third party application from an unknown source with that problem.
Just follow the guide in the FAQ instead: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=28106&p=138973#p138973
It's got examples of how the path will usually look like when installing MySQL to C:\mysql and when installing it to the default location based on Version 5.5, but it shouldn't be that hard replacing the 5.5 version by whatever is the latest version now. (IIRC 5.7 is still the current latest version at the time of writing this)
