SAM Cast 2013 has to be the most buggiest software I have ever dealt with -- Had a lot of issues with SAM Cast 2013.2 and worked with Support and kept getting told "we have no one else with these issues" Finally 2013.3 seemed to resolve those issues...

Really tired of the random crashes though -- Your software can't go more than 10 days without needing to be restarted or this happens (SAM Cast 2013.6)

I really wish Spacial would get off their butts and FIX their software or refund me for this garbage -- I am tired of the countless issues I have had with 2013..

Simplecast NEVER had these issues.. However Spacial FORCED people to upgrade to 2013 if they wanted to run newer versions of windows ...

You won't receive any official support through the forums.
If you want to complain, you should do that to the support guys on the helpdesk or to the marketing and social media departments which can be reached via Facebook or Twitter.

On the other hand we'd be glad to try and help you with our experience, but if you expected help from the community, I guess you would've specified your problem in the first place already.

Been running various versions of SAM for about 5 years now. One of the most stable software platforms we have ever used. We run have run our SAM continuously for over 3 months at one instance before patch management and maintenance required us to reboot our server. I find that most stability issues with SAM are because of the interface between the chair & the keyboard. Just looking at the screen shot, you might turn off all the unneeded UI FX on your desktop to start with!

SAM Broadcaster user since 2009

Oh dear, I was about to start using the sam cast. Had a play with it for a day but was not too sure. For me it seems stable but lets see. I am still using XP but the new computer is running win 8 would i expect problems?

With SAM Cast 2013 you should be fine for Windows 8.
The older versions are definitely NOT compatible with Windows 8.
That's the same for all programs by Spacial.
