i was reading manual about how to transmit data from one app to another and it never worked for me
in our setup there is desktop with windows 8 running SAM Broadcaster to play music and another desktop running windows XP with SAM Cast to stream it
i managed on SAMcaster to update Artist and Title manually however we would like it to happen automatically each time songs from the playlist change

both machines are in the same LAN and can see shared folder

can someone advise what can be done to update info about songs in SAMcast automatically
