Hey Forum,
I am a noob to the world of streaming audio online. I just purchased the Sam Broadcaster software to be able to stream my Mixshows Live as I am in the Club. My question is, How do I port my music to SAM while i am mixing in the club? Can I use the Line Input Jack out of my Mixer or is there another way to somehow connect my laptop to my Mixer? I currently Use Virual DJ on the laptop to mix MP3s as though they are CDs. And I use an External USB soundcard to split the audio into 4 seperate channels to the mixer.

But what I Need it a way to go from my Zone or Record on my Mixer to the Sam Broadcaster.

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

Thanks,
DJ.Lost

Yes..... MIC-IN/LINE-IN on your sound card....

In your queue, click on the little DONW ARROW next to the GREEN '+' in your Queue, and choose 'Add Mic/LineIn'.

When I use the line-in function on Sam for my mixer, I get a bad echo. I am streaming an online feed and using the "line out" jack to a transmitter to broadcast. Any way to fix this?

Check which connectors are checked/unmuted in your audio volume control of windows.
Especially check if any of the outputs is also enabled in the input and vice versa as well as "Stereo Mix" or "What you hear"
If in doubt, post your findings here.
