Hi;

First I am going to buy two Shure mic for Sam and a mic amplifier (Edirol UA 5). Does SAM supports two mics at the same time ?

Second, this amplifier (edirol) is connecting to pc with usb. Sam, has some problems with usb devices. Is it true ?

Third, when i buy SAM, with one license, can i install it more than one pc. Or how many computers do i have a permit to install it?

And what do you recommend as a sound card for me?

It will be very helpfull if you had experiences about this situations and share them with me. Still if you have other recommendations like mic or mic preamp brand and model, i'm listening.

(1) SAM will only allow ONE mic/line input.. BUT, if you choose to rung them thru an external mixer, you can use as many external mics/sources as you want, running the mixer into SAMs soundcard input.

(2) This is true. SAM does not play well with many USB devices. It's sort of 'hit or miss' as to which ones work and which do not. It's suggested that any external audio device connected to SAM be a non-USB device.

(3) With your licence (registration key) you're allowed to install SAM on up to TWO PCs. One as your main broadcast machine, and a second as a backup or production machine. Registration keys are verified via SAM connecting to the Spacial Audio registration servers, and will only allow activation of SAM on two machines per each registration key.

Thank you very much.
These are very important for me.

What do you suggest as an external mixer?

There are countless ones out there... depends on your budget and what you're needing to hook into it.

Google "audio mixers." Avoid those that connect w/ USB connections.
