I'm really new to SAM and I was wondering if someone could help me out with a problem I am having. im an online D.j and when after I insert my server i.p and it begins to stream, I get several seconds of the end of what I played last time when I was streaming. also, after I log out after my D.j session my stream is getting cut off and I loose the ends of my song or sound effects that I might use. also when I hot play with nothing in Queue it randomly plays something from my history. does anyone know what is going on and how to fix it ? thanks so much

1) This is attributable to the buffer in the shoutcast server not being cleared.
2) Again you must realize there is a buffer in shoutcast delay your logoff for at least 30 seconds, but varies to each listener
3) If autodj is enabled the SAM will attempt to queue up as many tracks as it has been told in the Playlist rotation area in SAMs configuration.

Thank you Rob, that is what I heard about the buffer in Shoutcast. can you tell me how I can clear the buffer each time I end my show. do I just need to just let it run dead air for a couple minutes before I put the radio station stream back in, or is there another way? thank you for your help ☺
