Hello,
When I orinally installed Sam, I just chose the default setting of installing Firebird instead of choosing MySQL. How hard is it now to convert it over? Will I lose everything or what steps should I take?

All Settings are stored in a config file.
Everything organizational and track related is stored in the database.
Unless you first dump the Firebird data into a generic format and reimport it to MySQL (No, there is no guide for that, you'd have to gather that info yourself), you will loose all tracks, tag changes not stored in the audio files and categories, as well as all history and event stuff.
