You're taming the horse from the wrong side. Royalty licenses available from the major collection bodies only cover music you bought yourself. The streaming services like spotify however don't transfer ownership of the songs to you, but only grant you a non-transferable non-expandable license to listen to their streamed audio or download parts of it for offline playback. That license is very different from the license you get with an MP3 download at iTunes or a CD bought at the local record store.
