The reason why I am asking this question is that I recently had to uninstall SAM and reinstall. When I installed and got to the configuration button "Station ID", and put in the "Member details" section and enter your SpacialNet username and password and click on the "Short name" dropdown, I got a configuration "not responding" several times. It would not load the short station name.
I checked the event log on SAM and I saw that I was getting and "Unhandled Exception (Socket error #10060connection timed out) and also "Touch aborted. Please register your station at AudioRealm.com." The station has been register with SpacialNet for over 15 years.
I went to audiorealm.com and got an error message: "This site can’t be reached audiorealm.com took too long to respond." I did a Windows Network Diagnostics and it stated that my computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (audiorealm.com) is not responding.
Does anyone know or have any info on audiorealm and this issue.

I am not seeing any issues with audiorealm.com as this post. There is nothing in my logs that would suggest issues contacting their authentication server.

This happens all the time. The servers at audiorealm.com aren't exactly reliable and at least for me, they're down more often than not.
It shouldn't affect your SAM other than spamming your Event Log window with messages.

I had related issue. Reinstalled everything, could not connect to Audiorealm, created a dummy station there, playlist and songinfo showing fine now, but unable to change station name on Audiorealm via SpacialNet.

Again: This error is nothing you can change. It's a server problem at audiorealm.com
If you want this fixed or need help with the audiorealm platform, please contact the official Spacial helpdesk. They've got an employee who's responsible for maintaining all their websites and servers and if you get to the right person, the helpdesk people might be able to contact that employee and tell them to fix the problems.
From the outside there's nothing you, me or anyone else could do about these problems.

Running SAM 4.9.6. They refuse all tickets, all the time.

Support for SAM 4 has ended a couple of years ago. It was limited to activation support only for a while, but I think even that is over now and with time moving on I think we should probably follow their lead and discontinue support for SAM 3 and 4 on the forums as well.
