Ok, I need a little help with cross-fading and the Gap Killer.

Music sounds good - track to track. But when there is a voice-track or a station ID, it seems to cut off the last second of the ID or Voice track.

Where would I deal with that? Can I see some Gap Killer settings?

Thanks folks.

Yes, they work well. It is the gap killer that I think is causing the problem.

My station IDS and voice track cut off a fraction of a second before ending.

The settings in the video refer to config settings in "cross-fading" section wich defines general for everything played. (They play well for my needs - best settings I could find). You have the choice to make individual fading settings for each file individually. You just need to open the song information editor from the track, jingle, station id or whatever you want to edit. Under tab "Fading" you can set your individual cross fading settings. These settings will override the base settings from the config menue ! I have attached two examples for those kind of settings I already have used. I would suggest to try at first to disable cross fading or give a chance for longer fade out option as shown as second option. Maybe you have to play a little bit with curve, time or level ... by clicking /changing the options. The graph displayed will help yout to see what's happening. I do not suggest to change the gap killer settings (defined by video) in the config menue. Let me know if I could help you. I wish you many sucess !

There are a few songs I have already done that for.

I have had issues with the audio breaks. (Voice Overs, Voice Tracking) not being tight. I have played with about everything I can play with, writing down the previous settings before I applied new ones.

I finally have it sounding right where I want them. I think it sounds 'bitchin'.

Thank you so much for your patience and support.

Be safe and have a great day.
