Hello!

I have been having issues with slight stuttering on SAM Cloud if using Sam Live DJ and or SAM Broadcaster. Only between songs, when a jingle
starts or whenever a new song starts...I tried different encoders, different settings for the latency...I noticed that the issue is only there using the Cloud connection if I stream straight to the Icecast server from SAM Broadcaster Pro, I do not get the issue. As soon as I connect to the cloud service from SAM Broadcaster Pro you hear a slight stutter between songs for about half a second. Any ideas?

I am having this exact issue. It only started when I began sending my streams from SAM Broadcaster Pro to SAM Broadcaster Cloud. Very frequently when transitioning between songs there is a stutter or skip effect of the song starting to play. It's driving me nuts and making me reconsider using the SAM Cloud platform. Which I signed up for to have failover protection if my local servers go down.

Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to update this thread in case the OP or others have this same issue...

One thing I tried that seemed to maybe have some positive impact on the issue was setting my SAM Cloud buffer from 15sec to 60sec. But there still seemed to be a slight stutter now and again. So I engaged SAM support. After some back and forth explaining the details of the problem, the person asked me to restart the stations from within SAM Cloud. Not stopping/restarting the streams themselves. But turning the stations off then back on. Which will drop your stream all together.

The tech actually did this for me when I asked what the process was - which kind of irked me because I would have preferred to do this during a time when the stations had fewer listeners. But at any rate, it so far as stopped the stuttering.

My case number with support for this was: #167605 . In case someone has to engage them for help you can have them reference this for details of what was done.
