I've had the exact same issue since upgrading.

About 36 hours ago I uninstalled a wallpaper program called “Lively Wallpaper”. Since then zero crashes. I never used to make much more than 3 or 4 hours before SAM Closed on its own.

Fingers crossed that this is it.

I don't think so because I had it on a complete clean and fresh install of Windows 11, only Sam was installed. Sometimes it ran 3 or 4 hours but sometimes a whole week but in the end it always crashed. I reinstalled Windows 10 and since then I am running Sam without problems, the uptime is now 31 days.

did this problem ever get any kind of resolve....it still crashes my SAM 2022.3 after an hour or 2. I keep all
my programs and drivers up to date but this has gotten so bad I'm tempted to use another radio broadcast
program. As long as I've been using SAM it seems impossible that this problem is un-fixable??? Surprised that
no one can resolve this problem....surely you knew people were going to start using Windows 11...please,fix this!!

I've been running windows 11 with mariadb for months, zero issues. We upgraded to a dell powerEdge server, which, for some reason, works much better than any hand built PC we've had.

try downgrading to v2021.4 or earlier. You can copy/paste your current samconfig.xml file then replace it after downgrade, that way you can skip all the manual config, you'll still have to add your mariaDB password in the db.config.xml file in the reporting folder.

Does your event log show anything right before it crashes?

This issue has not gone away. It is impossible to replicate, or establish any commonality. With mine it could play for weeks before it happens, then at other times it could occur within hours or even minutes of being restarted.

I am using a Lenovo Ideapad 330s to run Sam, with msql. I use Wamp.

Despite my 3 follow-ups regarding an update/fix for the issue, the support team have not responded. I have no issues since the server has been downgraded to Windows 10. No intention to run on 11 unless Spacial advice.
