Hello,
I can't seem to get the artist photos to show up on our request page info section. I did this in the past but now I can't get it to work. We are running php... I load the pictures into the Samphp>pictures folder and then load them individually thru the song editor. Once in the editor I click on upload and click Ok. Shouldn't that do it... or am I missing something?
Thanks,
dmichael

Are you directing them to the proper location? Are you getting any errors in the FTP log?

Hello,
I think so... I have the photos placed in the link from the Config>General section. I set it to the Samphp>pictures location. My ftp log is empty but my que has all the photos listed. I was thinking the upload button in the song editor was all I had to do... but do I have to send the ftp que? And how do I do that? I saw a menu selection under HTML output>Upload all pictures but it just seems to put them in the ftp que...
Thanks,
dmichael

Yeah, that is all you have to do... seems like your FTP is stuck for some reason. It's happened to me a time or two, but rare... only a couple times in the 2+ years I've had it. It took me shutting down SAM, and restarting it for it to work again. Give that a try, and let us know if it helped.

Hello,
I did a complete restart of the server and now I do see an error message in the FTP log. Here's what it says;

connection failed (10061:500 Connection refused (Winsock error #10061)

Thanks,

Verify that you have the username and password correct. Remember that it's case sensitive.

Hello,
I re-checked the Member Details in the config menu selection - that was fine. Was that what you were talking about? There is also the HTML output that had no username/password filled in. I filled in my SpacialNet info still no go... is that for the username/password I got with the Sam Broadcaster software?

Also since our station is using php... do I need to worry about the HTML output tab in the Config setup because that all points to the samHTMweb folder...
Thanks for all your help,

Config > HTML Output page....

At the bottom is FTP information. Although you're using PHP pages, you still need to send the pictures via FTP to your website. For this you'll need to know your login/password for your FTP access.

Hello,
Ahhhh... okay I'm in thru ftp and when I hit the upload button in the song editor one of the last items it says in the ftp log is the photo name and then access is denied. I'm close.... I can feel it... :)
Thanks,
dmichael

If you got ACCESS DENIED, then make sure your webhost hasn't made any changes and that you're allowed access to that folder.... then check your username/password again

Hello,
I got it to work - but thru our inetpub folder. I was placing the photos in the SAM folder (programfiles>spacial audio>Sam). I needed to put them in the inetpub>wwwroot folder where the pictures folder lives. Once I did that they all appeared... Sorry for my lack of knowledge here... it's time for coffee.
Thanks for all your help,
dmichael
