playing.php and playlist.php do not load, and I get this error message:

status=err
SQL error=Could not connect to MySQL server

It worked mostly without interruption for two weeks, now this...?

My webhost is up and running and all the other webpages are working fine.

I am running Vista Dual-Core with MySQL, have two Shoutcast regular mp3, two Icecast, one MPM stream, and one Live365 stream; three of these go through a streamhost. I have 2 gigs of RAM. No PAL scripts running. I have a T-1 line, using a linksys router. Port 3306 has been open throughout. The internal IP is 192.168.1.103, both in Port Forwarding and in ipconfig.

But has your EXTERNAL IP changed at all? If your EXTERNAL IP changes, your web pages won't be able to connect to your SAM machine.

It's always been static, and did not change today.

And the router's working fine, streams running fine. It's just the phps.

I went to MySQL Command Line Client and the password matches the one in dbconfig.xml.php. I refreshed the router, and that didn't work, either. Should I instruct it to reconnect to server?

Any other ideas?

Have u installed any anti virus - firewall stuff ? I suggest u check them out..And rarely because of electricity black outs routers can stop forwarding..Check if u can forward other ports too for other applications or not..

All I needed to do is re-boot. Somehow, the communication went down within SAM. With a re-boot, it re-connected correctly.
