Sample Custom samphpweb + joomla module

When first setting up my sambc web, I didn't find many (if any) websites that customized the one in the package. In doing so, I have learned much about how the basic samphpweb works. I applied a template with stylesheet, created a few custom pages (nowplaying.php, etc.) and a custom html joomla module.

I am happy to answer any question that anyone else has in setting theirs up, maybe saving them some valuable time.

If it is inappropriate to display samples like this, I apologize. I just wish someone would have shared theirs with me during my discovery process.

I just finished making the "block" for phpnuke websites and mk-portal sites. I have been quite amazed at how flexible and accessible the software is.

Hello i use joomla as well i always had to use wrap to show sam on my site. I'm gald to se someone came up with this project. I have a few questions thou. Can i use any template i want or i hvae to use a customized one from you?
will your module work in joomla 1.0 or 1.5 native or with legacy enable?

Not yet. I am taking a little time off but will make the final modifications and submit it asap. I will post on the joomla/ext site and here when it is ready.

I guess so, I had some one do this for me so I am not sure exactly what you need to send. If you can tell me, I can zip it up.

I will work on it Sunday or Monday. I have the template package and the Sam modules.

Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

Oh well ... And is this for V1 or V1.5 or both?

I asked him to supply his 1.0 component. So i could see how they were doing it, and it's only one line of code that requires the playing.php. :lol:

I will write a joomla component for 1.5 tonight and post it here.

P.S. I'm not sure if I should start a new thread for feature requests, or just request them on this thread. I guess just put feature requests on this thread unless the admins say otherwise.

The Feature Request forum is more for Spacial products. I'm inclined to suggest that as this is a "non-SAM" item that keeping them here makes sense.

That's just me.
