A little more detail on how you notice you have a problem would certainly help.
i.e.: is display_errors enabled and are errors showing on your website or did you at least check the logs / log files at your webhost? (usually they're either available through FTP or at least readable in the control panel)

The error log is to be found here:
Code:
/home/godpleasers/logs/godspeaksinternetradio_com.php.error.log

This is the path to your phpinfo file:
Code:
/home/godpleasers/public_html/phpinfo.php

So go one directory up from the phpinfo file and then go to the logs folder. Just copy the file called "godspeaksinternetradio_com.php.error.log" and attach it or better yet put it into dropbox, onedrive or google drive and just send me the link.

Hello, I'll hop on this topic as it is related. OK I've done a silly with my .htaccess File, I overwrote the good one and none of my backup files work. My php files now want to download instead of displaying because my APP Handler entry is now wrong and can't find what I had before. I tried all sorts of versions been hours on this. On my host provider I have PHP 7.0 (ea) selected (can't go lower), I tried the higher versions too.

Some of the handler I added are:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php73 .php .php5 .php4 .php3
AddHandler application/x-httpd-ea-php54 .php
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php70 .php .php4 .php5 .html .htm .phtml .shtml
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php70 .php
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php56 .php
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php54 .php

Could someone please share his .htaccess top bit with me ? Perhaps there is more to just that line to it. At this stage I was ready to just say sod it and leave it broken.

Thanks and all the best through these horrible times we are all going through

Looks like i resolved the problem possibly hours ago, just realised this when testing on my tablet or an incognito browser page and it worked. It seems on my normal browser it is still loading wrong information from the cache. So,, many of the handler I tried probably worked but didn't know it.... so been trying to fix a non existent problem but it's not like I have anything better to do :D Cheerio

Turn off display_errors if this is a productive server out in the wild!
You can log deprecation warnings as much as you like, but you shouldn't show detailed error messages to anyone visiting your site! That's a security risk!

This is not a problem with PHP7. each() is still working as intended in PHP7.
This feature is only scheduled for removal in a future version of PHP (most likely PHP8 that was just released in November last year)

Hi Everyone!

Can someone help me? My xml file has a warning. I would like to fix this "Warning: Undefined variable $val in \home\library\Common\xml.php on line 240".

I had a similar warning in the "form.php" file but I found a solution. I can't find a solution for this file:

1. What SAM version is that file from?
2. Did you apply the fixes from this thread?
3. What are the warnings/errors you get?
4. Enable display_errors and error_reporting(E_ALL) in your php / check your webhosts PHP error log for detailed error messages and post here please.

I used th update.zip from this thread and have the follogin problem with the SAM 2021.3 and the samPHPweb scripts

Code:
633673#0: *108622 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Warning: reset() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /var/www/vhosts/radio-vhr.de/wunschbox/library/Common/xml.php on line 77PHP message: PHP Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /var/www/vhosts/radio-vhr.de/wunschbox/library/Common/xml.php on line 78PHP message: PHP Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /var/www/vhosts/radio-vhr.de/wunschbox/library/Common/xml.php on line 239" while reading response header from upstream

Maybe anybody has an idea on that.

That last one looks like an error in your dbconfig.xml.php
It's probably best if you reset that to the default version from "C:\Program Files (x86)\SpacialAudio\SAMBC\samPHPweb\config" and reenter your credentials.
Another user reported there was a problem with some special character in their password that caused the XML parser of PHP to crash. so maybe try a password without special characters. (Choose a longer password instead. Making your PW longer is even better than making it more complex)

hello Mastacheata

been awhile i been here
i been having issue on my PHP i just found out it was from the php version
i tried to edit the file but i have a Sam 2014 version
then my php aren't the same from the one you uploaded
maybe i could just change them with the new samPHPweb folder
but i'm afraid it will might not have the same communication between the soft and the file
if someone already tried be happy to have sole feedback
i try to get the demo version for couples hours but i didn't yet get the download link i did it 2 times already
