This just started happening. I go to log in to my WP site (with the fhrsam plugin running), it gives me the usual "Login Successful, redirecting..." message, and then reloads the page and I'm not logged in.

If I ftp in and rename the fhrsam plugin folder, I can log in and change it back so the site works, but clearly something got corrupted somewhere in the plugin and it's preventing me (and presumably other users) from logging in. I have no idea where to even begin with that. Any ideas?

Did you update your Wordpress recently?
FHRSAM is old, really old and it's not been maintained for about 10 years.
On the other hand Wordpress pretty much breaks backward compatibility once a year.
It is very likely that a Wordpress update killed your FHRSAM (or more like the other way around)

You can start by reading the Wordpress Codex for information on how to write a plugin and then slowly upgrade FHRSAM to work along current Wordpress Best Practices. (Good luck with that, the plugin was already violating those standards when it was released)

Yeah that's most likely the problem! I have been using it without (much of) a problem ever since it was released. It didn't occur to me that it would go bad.

I guess I'll start shopping for a new web solution.

Update...

Oddly enough, I got it working by removing some of the extra blank spaces and replacing some EOLs in the nowplaying.php with a space. Not all of them, of course, just some. Very weird. I can now log in and out without having to rename the fhrsam plugin folder.
