We do live shows, each dj when live has a separate encoder that archives the show on a smb share. Is there a way to refresh the playlist and add new music via pal? I can write a powershell script to copy the archived shows to the local drive of sam where it pulls it's music... just need a way for SAM to add the new music (maybe by timestamp?) and refresh the playlist so they'll be part of the rotation. Any ideas?

If you have a folder full of files that has a predictable name with the date in it, you could write a PAL script to add only that folder (with the ever changing name) to your library at certain times. (Basic String manipulation and Date handling is neccessary).

If you only add files to a previously existing folder, but don't add the date in the file/folder name, you could perform a refresh by deleting and readding all files/folders. That will obviously only work if you don't do any custom settings on your tracks at all.
