Hi there...

Not sure if this is a request or a feature that SAM already has.

Does SAM have the capability to use an external control desk (like-http://www.logitekaudio.com/assets/product_gfx/remora10_large.jpg) or is this a possibilty for the future. It would be great to have it...so much easier to use with a desk than clciking with a mouse when two things may be needed to be clicked at the same time.

SAM should have the capability to be able to assign each deck and the cue buttons, mics etc to a certain bus and fader module within the desk. I think this could easily be programmed and made, i would love to see it happen.

thanks, Ryan.

EDIT- Would also like to see a 'live/on air light" indicator when the lock talk or the fader is up on the mic fader, like so- http://www.canford.co.uk/commerce/item_51-423_2001609.aspx

The easiest way to accomplish something like this would simply be to add MIDI support to sam functions, see here:

Would definately be a good idea, only if they actually did it is the next step to get over!

thanks, Ryan.

I use a mixer in my studio with SAM Broadcaster with no problems. It controls audio, phone, etc. You just would hook the mixer to a line-in input, whether it'd be a separate board, computer, etc.
