I'd like the platform to brand specialist show content. See this discussion;

viewtopic.php?f=22&t=25768

To go a step further; I'd like the request platform to change when I have specislist show content so (as it is down here today on Specialist Show Sunday) the request on-line shows **only** the content relevant to the specialist show. Normal transmission (and requests) can be resumed after the specialist shows have ended.

As stated in the other post, as this is not something that everyone would use it is not something that would be included in the program.

This is something that would need to be added into the program using a PAL script.

Everyone could use it James - it depends simply on the application or customisation that each end user requires.

This feature could be used for programme sponsorship, branding, identification or advertising.

It simply allows end users the flexibility to programme, identify or sell their programmes as they choose.

In my case it would be used for programme branding and identification - but this is not the sole use that such an on-line field could be used for.

I still think it could be provided as a standard option that provides SAM with even greater flexibility - it could even be used to promote SAM itself!

As long as one hosts private requests and integrates their definition of content into the request mechanism such filtering is capable of being applied today.
This filtering should be done at a layer above SAM, the website, not integrated. The definition of "content" is too broad to define within terms of SAM.
