Start by reading the manual on the HTML templating language used by SAM
Not sure off the top of my head if the HTML help is included in the main help file (which is no longer available from within SAM) or a separate Help menu entry.
If there's no help menu entry for HTML templates, check out the Program Files folder of SAM and look for the help folder. Inside should be sam-bc.chm (White notepad and yellow question mark icon if I'm not mistaken), which is the "old" help file of SAM documenting most if not all the controls inside SAM.
