Could someone tell us the max MP3 file size we can use for mp3 file that will be streamed to listeners right when they connect before they hear the live stream, or we have an ADSL problem and the backup MP3 file comes in, we can't see anywere the file size's.
We have tested with just one MP3 file and it works fine, but we would like longer files.

Actually, I don't think there really is a size limit that I've ever seen. I assume you're using a SHOUTcast server for this?
The only stipulation is that the files MUST be the same SAMPLE RATE as your stream.

I believe it will all come down to the amount of space you actually. You might drop a support ticket to the main support department (click SUPPORT above) and ask there.

Humm Thanks, Think I will, just put a 96K file up as per the main stream and the file plays great but the main stream runs very slownow, take out the intro file and the main stream works fine!. Bit rates are all the same and tested in mono but the same.

You might post something over at the SHOUTCAST forums and see if someone over there has a better idea for you.

Requirements for SHOUTcast intro file: * Sample rate must be the same ( e.g. if the stream is 44.1kHz then the intro must be 44.1kHz ) * Number of channels must be the same ( e.g. if the stream is stereo then the intro must be stereo ) * Bitrate can be different ( e.g. if the stream is 128kbps the intro need not be in 128kbps )
