Is there log kept on who and when someone accesses the admin part of the Shoutcast Status pages? If so, is there someway, as station owner, I can access the information?
Thank You

All you need is the address to the SHOUTcast stat page:

Code:
http:// shoutcast-ip-or-url : port

Click the ADMIN link.... admin is the username, password is whatever was set up in the SHOUTcast configuration file. Do you have access to the config files for your SHOUTcast server?

There are no access logs by user that I am aware of for shoutcast. There is only a connection log for stream connections.

Thanks, I was looking for a user access log of some sort. Ya i can get into the Admin part fine. Someone with password has been kicking listeners for no reason and I wanted to see if there was some way to find out who. Since the Host server is Spacialnet I thought there might be a shoutcast or server log that I could get the information from.

No, there is no login activity log. I'd suggest changing your password.

I know this is an old topic but I have wondered for months if there is a way to access the connection log files. I can access the tail logfile but that gets flushed very often and then all the info is gone and it seems Spacialnet support were unable to help me with anything that is Shoutcast related, like they couldn't help me with errors in the tail log for example, which I was a bit suprised with...So I wasn't going to ask about anything else.

Any idea ?

Thanks
