Hi,

Anyone out just recived this email! Comes from address info@andomedia.com

Dear Broadcaster,

It has come to our attention that due to the misconfiguration of relay
settings, statistics for some stations are being reported incorrectly to
SpacialNet and AudioRealm. In order to ensure accurate statistics, fair use
and an optimized network we have decided to begin blocking such stations
starting on Tuesday, 10 August 2010.

The primary cause of the reporting problem is relays which are configured
to appear in statistics as multiple hosts, but are in fact the same
streaming service. This causes listener statistics for all listeners on
that relay to be inflated in reporting.

We are also now scanning for more deliberate attempts to inflate
statistics artificially.
Please note that any reporting incorrect statistics is a violation of
SpacialNet terms of service.

A preliminary scan indicated that your station will be blocked once the
system goes live. Please check your statistic relay configuration and
remove any multiple entries pointing to the same stream hosting service to
ensure your station does not get blocked.

Thank you for your kind cooperation in this matter.

The fix seems quite clear:
Quote:
Please check your statistic relay configuration and
remove any multiple entries pointing to the same stream hosting service to
ensure your station does not get blocked.

Include only one relay per server in the statistics relay window.

It means that obviously someone is running two (or more) statistic relays and they're both pointing to the same server to "increase" the numbers.

Same server, different ports = OK.
Same server, same ports = BAD.
