Dear All,

The most frustrating part of setting up my Station is AudioRealm. My play list show the Amazon links works but there is no audio and never has been. I have tried the Discussions here, Audiorealm and Loudcity and no one has a clue why the audio does work for me. It isn't only me either if you go to the forum on Audio realm the only subject that is on there covers the audio no working for so many people. The answer anyone seems to have is Audio Realm only accepts MP3 and Wav files.

I broadcast MP3, Who on here is using a compo of Sam 4.6.4 and Loudcity and has the audio working on Audiorealm. I have been trying to fine this out for over a year and it is driving me crazy.

If anyone can help please contact me, please don't just give the answer that it only accepts mp3 and wav files as that has been the only answer I have seen regrading this.

Thank,

David Elvin

And the reason you only see this is because that's basically the best answer we can give you. That's all we've been given. Have you considered contacting the main support desk on this and ask them? They might be able to help solve this issue. But as long as you've configured everything as needed, and are streaming WMA or MP3 audio, then it SHOULD be working. That is what we know.

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for replying, I am sorry if I came over as a bit of a pain, it was late when I wrote it and I was very frustrated. I am sure it's my fault but as I have set things up as per the video tutorial, in fact I re set the whole thing up the other night and started from scratch. The strange thing is the relays both say active and the encoders say OK, the touch on the log is OK, it shows no error anywhere. What settings can I give you from Sam that would be helpful for you to see. I am at work at the moment but I will send you the details you need tonight.

Thanks again,

David

I assume you've put in your Station's "short-name" under Config > Station Details.... ?

Encoders are encoding? VU meters are moving in SAM's Encoder window? Have you tried opening your stream in another 3rd party player like WinAmp or other?

Hi Andrew,

I have set the short name up in fact I created a new short name two nights ago and reset the whole thing up in Audiorealm. When I drop down the short name you can see in send out a search and it connects with Audiorealm fine. The play list up dates but no audio again. The VU meter work are moving and the stream works on nearly every system I try it on. But here is something strange. At work my Windows media player used to work fine, I up dated it and now it doesn't work with my stream at all. In audiorealm if I click on my website link the audio starts working right away after taking me to Loudcity.

Can you post your URL and port here so we can try connecting to your stream?

If you don't feel comfortable posting it, send it to me via PM.

Not sure if this is your issue... but as you're going thru LoudCity and streaming on port 80, I don't know if the AudioRelam player will even play a stream on port 80.

I would suggest contacting the main support desk on this. (Click SUPPORT at the top of this page.) Explain to them that you stream thru LoudCity on port 80, and ask if that's possible w/ the Audio Realm Player.

ash1.loudcity.fast-serv.com is the main Icecast Streaming Server.

Looks like the OP has two mount points with respective m3u URLs:
* /5469.96.live - http://ash1.loudcity.fast-serv.com/5469.96.live.m3u
* /5470.64.live - http://ash1.loudcity.fast-serv.com/5470.64.live.m3u
