Is it possible to modify this player for any station? I ask because I don't like the references to Amazon, etc., and I'd rather have the album cover displayed.

No you cannot modify this free player. You CAN however build your own, or have it built for you.

Embedding media players can be simple. GOOGLE "Embedded media player." You could have that put in a pop-up window on your website. Its simple and free. For something more elaborate, contact a web designer.
