Hi!

pre5-RC4 has just been uploaded.
Please note that this release has not been tested nearly enough to get my
stamp of aproval (only been tested a few days on my machines) - so DO NOT
upgrade to this release if you currently have no serious problems with SAM2.

Those that are already having problems with SAM2 are however encouraged to
upgrade since I did fix quite a few bugs. If you continue to have problems,
please run the debug version to help us track down the problems.

Whats new:
- Fixed problem with song selection method with recent RC4 releases
- 10-band Equalizer
- Tempo, Pitch and SampleRate adjustments (Beat matching coming soon!)
- Minor improvements to streaming network layer
- A few bug fixes.
- Fixed a possible "sam freeze" bug.

DEBUG - http://www.spacialaudio.com/beta/samdebug.zip

Cheerz
Louis

I really like this version. The EQ rocks and I love the mute function now too. And of course the various bug fixes are much appreciated.

However, the song transition bug still exists where songs jump & skip during the first and last 5 seconds or so. First I thought it was either the crossfader and/or the gap killer, but it's not. I get the same results when they are both disabled. Unfortunately this bug is bad enough where I still can't use the latest "pre" with all the cool new functions because the station is not audibly tolerable. Please acknowledge this bug and let me know if a fix is in the works. It is back to pre3 for me, again.

Thanks,
JERIC

I think about it a lot. I'm also thinking about how my concern was not acknoweldged as I requested. I think it was a valid question and I'm disappointed that it was not addressed. All I expect is a "we're working on it" or "nobody else has this problem" or something. I'll assume they're working on it for now.

It IS most defineately being worked on and indeed even new addtions
integrated as well - ALWAYS assume without fail that we will most
defineately resolve any bugs and or issues with the software. Another option
that is even BETTER is to post these issues in the BUG reporting section of
our website - http://www.spacialaudio.com/bugs

These go DIRECT to Louis upon submission and he will also post the follow up
there aes well..
