Hola fellow broadcasters, I hope this message finds everyone well and relishing in broadcasting without a permission slip. Anywho, I had a client a few months back who was very frustrated with Spacial support and asked me to take a look at why his station is listed in the AudioRealm directory, displays the correct Title/track information, yet upon pressing play, there is no audio, despite native players such as VLC, iTunes, et al having no issue with playback.

As such, I just wanted to share my findings with the forum so as to hopefully push Spacial to resolve the issue.

Windows 7

In FireFox(v39) - Chrome(44.0.2403.125 m) - Opera(v30), .mp3 streams seem to play without issue, however .AAC streams are silent.
Flash Plugin 18.00.209

In Internet Exploder 11, both .mp3 and .ACC streams playback without issue.
Flash Plugin 11.9.900.170

Would love to hear any feedback from users on their experience with AudioRealm.

This is a common problem with the Player Script on AudioRealm. It apparently only supports a small set of Audio Stream formats.
I'm not even sure if you can guarantee an mp3 stream to play there or if there is some kind of bitrate or sampling rate limit.
