On the manual it is stated that from the 3 available options, SAM Cloud with LIVE Streaming'is the recommended one
But......on the SAM CLOUD interface it says, LIVE Streaming with SAM Cloud as backup is recommended.

that is confusing to say the least.

Can someone explain what is now the true recommended setting.
sure every situation is different. In my case SAM PRO is the main streaming source and for now I want the cloud to act as failover.

Again it is the different saying that makes things confusing

Recommended doesn't really mean recommended for most/everyone, but it's just what the default setting is/was at the time of writing the documentation.

There are 3 modes:
"SAM Cloud only" - no need for explanation, the name says it all
"SAM Cloud with Live Streaming" - You have to switch between SAM Cloud and SAM Broadcaster/SAM Live manually in both directions. Especially SAM Cloud will not take over if your Live stream disconnects "manually" or due to an error.
"Live with SAM Cloud as Backup only" - If SAM Broadcaster / SAM Live is connected, play that, when it's not connected play from your Cloud library/playblocks. This setting makes SAM Cloud take over whenever there is no live source connected. Be that due to an error or simply because noone is around to do a live show.
