SAM adds the field buycd where it's possible to put the link to a shop.
I'm wondering what is it's name. Because I tried to get it with mp3tag but unsuccessfully

I would like indeed prepare some MP3 with mp3tag, inserting already the shop link ...

thanks a lot in advance

It's the WPAY field (standard ID3 tag). But note: There is a bug in SAM BC.

Right, indeed I discovered zith Hex Editor the WPAY but since I was not able to recall it on mp3tag after have saved it with Sam, I thought this was named differently
Very annoying and useless to save it into comments

Tormy, once you transfer a file to another machine / system you will be glad to have the buying link in the comment section, as you can not see it any more in the WPAY field once saved with SAM. So this is a real backup solution ... Worked very well in the past for us.

yes but I do use the WPAY to make appear a button "buy now" on the player ... clicking it, you go to the shop.
In comments, sometimes you have other things written that have nothing to do with the shop ...

Then find any other unused field for backing up the link.
Comment is just the one he used and it's very common to use it just for comments like this.

yes I'm working to fully automatize the tagging. So that any comment form the incoming MP3 will be totally thrown away and substituted with the shop IF available. Else: it will be empty (and the button "buy now" will not show up).

In this moment I'm applying the algorithm with the incoming broadcasts, and it's working fine.
In the next future I will implement it for all the songs ... uniformity and consistency must be a rule ;)
