SOS Recommended exact system specifications

Below is the recommended system specifications for running SOS.

  • Pentium IV processer 2.0 Ghz or higher
  • 1 GB memory or higher
  • EMU_0404 or EMU_1212m (must have 2 PCI slots for the 1212m) soundcards
  • RADMIN or PC Anywhere (remote access software) installed
  • Clean install of Windows XP
  • No Windows Firewall – We recommend a hardware firewall or router.
  • Automatic Updates set to notify only, no auto download / install
  • Encoder must boot to the desktop with no username / password or error message interference.
  • Trend Micro Antivirus.
