Troubleshooting
From SpacialAudio
Having Trouble with SAM on Vista. You can using the Firebird Database and SAM in Computability (Windows XP Sp2) mode Once you install SAM with Firebird do not run either.
In the OS explore and goto Program Files\SpacialAudio\SAMBC find SAMBC.exe Right Click on it then properties. One of the tabs will be Compatibility. Click that tab. Then check run in compatibility mode.
Now Find the Firebird Directory in Program files. Then in bin toy will find Firebird.exe. Do the same thing ,right click, properties,Compatibility mode .
Once you have bot in compatibility Mode, Restart the machine. This way FireBird will come up in compatability mode, Then you can start SAM and both should work fine.

Having Troubles with the Mic/Line-In on vista?
Well i have found a way to fix this. This was done by accident when i tried different methods and tried the above one which fixed it this issue. Here is how to carry out the fixture if your SAM is already working. This is SAM 4.3.6, but will probably work for older versions as well.
1st> go to your Spacial Audio folder in Program files. 2nd> Go to the .exe and right click it properties. 3rd> Then go to Compatibility. 4th> Set the program to run in Windows XP service pack2. 5th> Click okay restart SAM and should work now!
Hope this works for Others. Fixed and Working by DJ ZinX: [1] for proof of working order on Vista Ultimate 32bit. Screenshot Provided on forum page.
