Ok am about to start coding a brand new Ajax style CMS for our radio network, and to be honest it's going to be a lot of work.
So I firstly wanted to check and see 1) What do people currently use. 2) What tools do you need in a CMS for your radio station.
These are currently The plugins the CMS will have.
[*]News portal ( with categories).
[*]Program pages aka each show has own dedicated page.
[*]Ajax media player and page loading.
[*]Podcast each episode of your programs and allow user to switch from live stream to podcast or video.
[*]Staff members to track everyone's work.
[*]Online store.
More plugins and add-ons will come later.
System requirements will either be:
NodeJS + mongodb
Or
PHP + MongoDB
There will be a cloud hosted solutions for quick setup.
