I contribute here quite a bit - my post(s) in self promotion get deleted with no explanation, while others remain. Wondering why?

When you created your topic in the Free Content/Self Promotion area, did you notice the yellow banner with the Forum rules on top of the input box?
Well it explains the situation with that special area of the forums: All Topics created in that are are automatically deleted 7 days after the last reply.



There's no hard rule saying you can't post the same thing over and over again, but I would kindly ask you not to do that and leave some time between posting again.

Your post was some kind of advertisement for an adjacent service to SAM Broadcast if I remember correctly.
If you offer some kind of free tier to your service, you could post that in the General forum and then point users at the full / premium version as well.
I would personally not allow any paid-only stuff in that forum, though.

if others advertise a paid service to create custom PAL script(s), (and vo/imaging) Why is there such an issue with advert(s) for custom ALEXA skills to help people put their SAM stream on alexa?

I would tend to see that as a complimentary service and not a competing one. As far as I am aware Spacial does not offer this right now. Maybe they plan to, and that's why my post was deleted?

Don't see the difference between advertising pal scripting & voice services, and custom alexa skills, but At this point, I will not re-post

You might have seen the post by dan40 about his disney park radio which was posted on Saturday last week.
Well, it's gone now. And neither me nor any of the other SVS members or admins deleted that. It's simply gone because it's now Sunday evening and the 7 days lifetime is over.
