I recently purchased another Sam DJ to go onto another (second hand Sony Vaio) laptop I recently purchased, I have inserted the activation code into the new Sam DJ on the Sony & I then have a fully functional Sam DJ.

I then started to upload my music (MP 3's) into it & it went in & it played exactly as it always has for all the years I have been using Sam DJ, (& that's forever by the way )

After loading in about a quarter of my music I stopped as it was time for bed, I closed everything down as normal, turned off the laptop in the normal manner & went to bed, I got up the next day & decided to load more music into Sam.

When I turned the Sony on all the stuff I had uploaded into Sam the previous day had gone & the titles that were in the history window that I had played the previous day didn't play & furthermore, the scenario I describe above has happened every time I turn the computer back on after loading onto it previously - all the stuff I had previously put into Sam has gone & whatever is on History tab will not play!!!!!

What have I forgotten to do
