Hi There,

After running perfectly for several years SAM recently comes up with this error when selecting the source for the encoders:

"recording: problem creating record handle (Error# 1). Recording device might be in use"

We've made no changes on the PC whatsoever, except for Windows 10 updates. At first we could fix it by restoring a backup image, but after a while same error ...

We've updates all software, drivers and firmare, still no luck.

setup specs:

- HP Z230 Intel i7-4790 @3.6GHz, 8 GB RAM, Windows 10 64-bit
- SAM 2019.2
- Audiocard: RME HDSP AES


Any ideas?
