I have recently upgraded PC and Sam Studio. Small nagging issue...
We have multiple playlists, which I exported from old computer, and imported to new computer. I've spent hours manually removing duplicate songs to clean up database (duplicates that Sam couldn't find due to slightly different file name or artist showing "THE Somebodies" rather than "Somebodies". Greatly pleased with the result, but one nagging concern... is there a way to tell what playlist(s) a single song might appear in? In some instances, I see the file when I search for a song, but then can't find which of the playlists it is in and I want to be able to verify that the song is indeed in some playlist. Some songs may appear in more than a single playlist.
I've tried looking at the song detail after searching for a particular song, but can't see a way to tell what playlist the song is in.
One of my content guys is convinced that I have omitted many songs in the playlists he maintains. Before I installed the new computer into production, I checked the total number of songs in each playlist, comparing the total in each playlist from the old computer to the new computer, and the numbers were strikingly close. When they were off, I could reconcile the difference (such as we had the same song in the playlist 2 or more times, with slightly different file names or version of song). I did not do a song-by-song comparison due to the large number of songs.
Does anyone know how I can tell which playlist a particular song is in? Song is definitely in the main Music folder, just can't figure out which playlist is calling it.
Thank you for any suggestions.
