Hi Folks.

I recently got a new "wireless" headset, Logitech H800. I can't seem to get the microphone working in SAM's Broadcaster PRO. The phones work great. The microphone works in Skype.

Any ideas on how I can get this working?

I'm running Win10 Home Edition.

If you set it up as the primary recording device in Windows, it should work out-of-the-box in SAM as well.
If it's available in the list of recording devices for Windows, it should be available in that same list on SAM as well.

SAM just uses the default Windows Audio/DirectAudio API as the Windows Settings app to enumerate all the audio devices.

Thank you very much for your prompt response. The device has been set up as the primary device in windows. Bluetooth is enabled. It does show in Sams; however, only the headphones seem to work. The microphone does not. I have tested the microphone in Skype and it works perfectly ergo the reason for my initial post. I have a friend who has the same SAMs Pro version 2020.2 and the same headset..my friends worked out of the box as you indicated. Mine does not. Is there anything else in the Sam Broadcaster Pro program that would facilitate it working?

In the perfect world, I agree with your suggestion; however, I still have no microphone availability in my SAMs Pro 2020.2. Have you any other suggestions?

If the headset itself doesn't appear in the list of recording devices, you can try just selecting the primary sound/recording device and see if that matches. (if you selected the bluetooth headset as the primary/default device in the control panel)

In the sam pro audio mixer pipeline, set the headset as the audio output device. click the "air out" button to make the change.
