Let me start by saying that I am not sure that this is a SAM problem, but I thought I would try on here.

I am running SAM Broadcaster Pro 2021.6 on a VPS server and my streaming provider is with Media CP.

They are using Icecast2...they also say that some encoders require that we select 'Shoutcast v1' for Encoder Type.

So yeah, in SAM Broadcaster, I have it set to Shoutcast V1 for the encoder...

Everything has been pretty solid for about a year...except for the past 2 or 3 weeks, I had a strange issue happen to me twice now.

All of a sudden, the stream stops for 4 or 5 seconds and the AutoDJ kicks in, however my SAM Broadcaster will play on top of it. Almost like they cannot agree with each other. It's as if the AutoDJ kicks in because it senses the connection was lost but the SAM stream is still playing.

The only way for me to fix is to stop the encoder in SAM and restart it.

Naturally, my streaming provider said they did not find any issues on their end.

So I am a bit lost and not sure what to do.

The encoder is set to AAC+ V2 at 128kbps in stereo. I have the MariaDB database...

If I happen to be listening I can fix things quickly but if it happens in the middle if the night, it's a different story.

I was wondering if any of you ever had this kind of problem?
