Most broadcast software systems have 3 decks for music playback which allow crossfades and continuous play. I know about the aux decks but a situation can arrise when you are playing a short jingle or audio segment shorter than the crossfade time you set (5 seconds for example) that cause SAM to pause while the previous deck clears. With 3 decks this would never happen and explains why most 'broadcast' automation systems use a 3 decks.

Probably THE most requested feature.

I guess I should have done more research to determine that this is a feature request hot topic. I have used MANY broadcast automation software programs and LOVE SAM for the many ways I can customize and tweak the playback. Unfortunatly the 3rd deck keeps it from being considered a serious broadcast program. Every time I hear a deck pause because of this I grind my teeth especially since I think SAM is a great tool. I hope I haven't ruffled too many feathers!
