Hi,

From our advertising marketer we do receive a dynamic MP3 file with duration of the upcoming Ads. The file includes silence which triggers Ads injection on our Icecast servers by marketers plugin. The file is a kind of placeholder to stop the music as long as the Ads are playing. We need to schedule that file each full hour then.

Somehow we should be able to load the updated audio file to the library frequently or play it directly from an URL. Same requirement could also stand for other external content (e.g. externally purchased News), so I think this is a usual demand to a professional radio automation solution.

Thank you in advance for letting us know what you are thinking about it.

Best regards from Germany :-)

There's a conflict of interest here.
Spacial is owned by a company doing Ad insertion and Ad management software for broadcasters (though at a large scale and not really feasible for hobbyist/non-profit webradios) and they obviously have no interest in enabling third party ad insertion systems to work with their products.

For SAM Cloud this is even explicitly forbidden in the User License Agreement unless you got prior express permission from Spacial. (See User Agreement section 3.2.c - https://spacial.com/sam-broadcaster-clo ... agreement/)

Hi Mastacheata,

thanks for the hint. We will ask Spacial for permission.
