I would like to suggest some advanced search options while searching the library. I would like to be able to search just a certain playlist, or search just subfolders under a certain section (Ex: Music -> Clean Versions).

It is difficult to determine sometimes if the song as age appropriate without listening to them through the cue deck, even though I have them in a folder strictly for clean music, but the search option pulls up all of the songs by the same name.

Almost 4 years, and I was hoping to see this as a feature.

Add a dropdown much like the category, that propagates with subfolders of the selected category as in the image below.

There is most likely no better radio automation software out there than SAM, but...
I stopped using it because if you manage a library with new files being added every week, even if you have properly added them to a category, it is hell to find the newly added unless you keep them unsorted and remind where you left of the last time. In the search feature having some extra filters like category, added since date x, genre, play count, weight... This information is easy to filter on, so much easier to develop than all those fancy audio features. I waited more than four years, and still it isn't here... So not turning back yet...

I add new music everyday single day to a category called New Music it stays there until a track plays at least once or 1 week. Then it gets moved automatically via PAL to a regular music category. Not hard to find all my new music since it is in it's own category. No longer new after a week.

DJ Cassio (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))):

I also used a category NEW, but within this I had to make 10 NEW sub-categories for each sub-genre to make it possible to select new music from the correct genre. While there is a field genre in a track. Not mentioning the other usable fields like mood, bpm, etc... but is a different discussion. From a searching point of view, to add new music this way is indeed easy, but reviewing the tracks and editing queues etc, it was not manageable for me. New music is not played once or one week, at least one month but good scoring tracks could last several months. So moving them to a main category with scripting is possible, but here the DJ's want to decide which one goes from new to main regular play rotation...
