using sam b'caster plus 4.9.6 encoding aac+, relay setup and "active (ok)". my station ("The MUSIC People") is listed in the directory, I can see the titles of the songs playing, but the audio will not play. my event log shows no errors. the relay graph indicates that there is one listener on the stream when I'm trying to listen. also unable to connect to stream with WMP, winamp or VLC.

any help would be appreciated.

PS: I did try searching the forum but got errors. apparently it doesn't understand english: "The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: no audio stream playing from directory. You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards." :!:

Hi there.

UHR has this same issue. I have a 64kbps, AAC stream that I just opened up, and it doesn't play any audio. Apparently on the AR directory, it's the 1st stream to play if someone tries to play the station. I have to manually go into Pick A Stream, and select the MP3 stream, and it works. I'm not sure if AR plays AAC or if this is a 4.9.6 issue or an issue on the Broadcasters end.

No SAM errors to report on this issue. Sam is running wonderfully, except playing AAC streams on AR.

I'm pretty sure that AR won't play AAC / AAC+ streams.

I am sorry for wasting time. I use too many different Browers, it appears that AR does in fact play AAC streams. It's Chrome that doesn't. IE plays it fine!

I've been trying (for weeks) to get my station to play on AudioRealm. My station islisted and updates correctly with each song change but clicking the "Listen" link produces no audio. I an only encoding in mp3 and stopped broadcasting through SAM VIBE. I am streaming tan IceCast server with no other problems. I seem to have dumb-founded SpacialNet Support. Surely, there must be somebody out there running SAM BC Pro 2014.7 through IceCast and successfully being heard on AudioRealm.

BTW: My station is "SLURP".

I have the same exact problem. I'm streaming MP3's to Spacialnet and my station and audio files are listed on Audiorealm but the player is isn't playing. The stream to the Windows Media Players works fine so I'm up a creek, without a paddle, in a chicken wire canoe. Support keeps saying change your stream to MP3's; I did that but still not working.

Does anyone have any idea/answers/solutions to this issue?

Same problem here - audiorealm doesn't play in Firefox, but it does in Explorer and Chrome..
