Hello there.
I apologize as this is not AM/FM related but internet related, but I really need some help now.
I've been searching for some radio management software via the web for a while now to help a friend set up his own internet radio.
We have a server to use to distribute the stream, I configured it for now to play some random MP3s from a list just to make sure it worked properly.
What we're looking for now is something to manage programming, schedules, shows, and a library of MP3s.
We looked at Airtime, but the free, do-it-yourself version seems broken as hell and we were unable to install it properly (the thing even needs Javascript to be disabled to let us log in!). My guess is they abandonned the free version to make the Airtime.pro version which is horribly priced since we already have a server we can use.
We looked into Rivendell, but I wasn't able to understand how it worked either with an internet stream. I'm not even sure if it's situed for just Internet radio.
We also tried to install r-a-d.io but it failed horribly, that thing apparently was never meant to be opensourced, there's a blatant lack of documentation, etc.
We're contemplating coding something ourselves, but as a last resort, I wanted to check here if I could find someone who knos a Linux software we could install on a webserver to manage our small Internet radio.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
